Inquiry

Knowing More

"Knowledge concerning any field or edge of 'knowledge itself', begins with inquisitiveness."

Moving from the surface, trying to dive more into the ocean of knowledge, one begins to inquire: "If I am a soul, belonging to the Lord, why am I in this awkward position, surrounded by miseries of the temporary nature?"

'Self-inquiry' is what makes this human form of life different from  animal Life.
A cat, a dog or even the smallest of ants have the power of reasoning. They can decide what and how to do an action. But, it is tightly boxed within the principles of eating, sleeping, mating, and defending. They either enjoy or suffer due the results of their actions. But, they never try to question why they suffer.

No doubt,  humans are rational beings. But, out of  so many human beings, there are a few who question their sufferings. They seek for total solution for their sufferings. Whereas, the others continue with their principle of life as a 'rational' animal.

The Bhagavad-Gita, is meant for such souls. Who sincerely want to learn all these solutions. Under the guidance of a devotee of the lord. Because, the words of lord are best understood, executed, and revealed by his devotees who come under the disciplic succession beginning from the lord himself.
